Workflow Docs is a project of Lemma Legal Consulting, a firm dedicated to bridging the gap between law and technology.

Our team isn't just building software; we are attorneys and developers with decades of combined experience on the front lines of legal aid. We understand the unique challenges of public interest law because we've lived them.

  • Quinten Steenhuis (Founder): A computer scientist and attorney with 12 years of experience as a legal aid litigator. He is a nationally recognized expert in legal automation, a 2021 ABA Legal Rebel, and the author of the White House-recognized eviction defense tool, MADE.
  • Toby Fey: Spent 15 years as a legal aid housing lawyer, helping thousands of tenants before transitioning into expert document automation.
  • Rami Lorca: Formerly a legal aid attorney in Boston, where he first pioneered the use of automation technologies to expand access to justice.

We specialize in building smarter, deeply integrated tools for LegalServer users. Our mission is to help legal aid organizations and law firms streamline their document workflows—from initial intake to final signature—so they can focus on what matters most: serving their clients.

By combining legal expertise with modern software engineering, we ensure that every template and automation we build is legally sound, user-friendly, and technically robust.
