Data Stays in LegalServer​

LegalServer remains the permanent system of record. Workflow Docs acts as a bridge to help you gather information and generate documents, but the source of truth never changes.

Encryption & Retention​

All data processed by Workflow Docs is encrypted in transit and at rest. We only retain data for as long as is strictly necessary to complete the document assembly process. For more details on our data handling, please see the Lemma Legal Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Azure AI Enterprise Privacy​

Our AI features are powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. Unlike consumer AI tools, our integration uses Microsoft's Enterprise Privacy Policy, which means:

  • Your data is never used to train Microsoft's underlying AI models.
  • Data entered into the system is isolated to your organization's environment.
  • Microsoft adheres to HIPAA, SOC 2, and other rigorous compliance standards.

Ethical AI Design​

AI features are designed to be "human-in-the-loop." They help ask questions and gather information based on your templates, but they never provide legal advice, make recommendations, or replace an advocate's judgment.
